Fresh green beans recipe


1. Wash and trim the beans first. Snap off the stems before cleaning them in a colander under cool running water. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil as you work. Put an adequate cooking of ice water close by.

2.Have the beans blanch. Throw the trimmed beans in the pot shortly after the water is boiling. Cook the beans for 2 minutes, or until they're tender-crisp and green in color.

3.then rest! To stop the cooking process, add the blanched beans to the bowl of cold water instantly. You want them completely cool, thus allow them at least fifteen seconds to chill.

4.The beans need to be washed and spread down to dry on a kitchen towel or paper towels.

I've finished now! It's about time to eat the string beans.
